Travel Operating Room RN - $2,736 per week

About the Role

Level III Trauma OR in a complex community setting. 40 hours per week, 10-hour evening shifts. Duration: 13 weeks. 1-2 rotations to weekend per 4-week schedule; 1-2 rotations to Eves (1p-11:30pm) per 4-week schedule. On-call required.

Unit Details

• Unit Name: Operating Room
• Bed Count: 15
• Census: approximately 30 - 40 patients per day
• Clinician to Patient Ratio: 1:1
• Patient Population: Pediatric, Adult & Geriatric
• EMR (Charting System): EPIC

Responsibilities & Schedule

• Day Rotate requires rotation to 2-3 Eves per 4-week schedule
• Weekend Rotation requires 1-2 shifts per 4-week schedule
• Call Requirement: 1 Holiday Call; 2-3 Weekday calls per 4-week schedule; 1-2 Weekends per 4-week schedule
• Weekend shift will include Call (Example: Working Sat. from 7a-5:30p, Call will be from 5:30p – 11p)
• Floating Required: No
• Rotating Shifts: Yes (rotation not required for Night shift)

Requirements

• Years of Experience Required: 2 years working in one location; and 2 years working as a Traveler
• Certifications Required: Massachusetts RN License; AHA BLS
• Skill Sets Required: Basic aseptic technique, circulating independently, multispecialty competence. Experience with Mako and Davinci systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN & CNOR preferred
• Scrub experience preferred
