Travel Operating Room RN - $2,736 per week

About the role

Travel RN position in the Operating Room at a Level III Trauma complex community setting in Salem, Massachusetts.

Shift & Schedule

• 40 hours per week, 10-hour evening shifts
• Day/Eves & Weekend Rotate – 1-2 rotations to weekend per 4-week schedule; 1-2 rotations to Eves (1pm-11:30pm) per 4-week schedule
• On-call required: 1 Holiday Call; 2-3 Weekday calls per 4-week schedule; 1-2 Weekends per 4-week schedule
• Weekend shift includes Call (example: Working Sat. 7am-5:30pm, Call from 5:30pm-11pm)
• Floating: No
• Rotating shifts required for Day shift; rotation is not required for Night shift

Unit Details

• Unit: Operating Room
• Bed Count: 15
• Census: approximately 30-40 patients per day
• Clinician to Patient Ratio: 1:1
• Patient Population: Pediatric, Adult & Geriatric
• EMR (Charting System): EPIC

Requirements

• Massachusetts RN License
• AHA BLS
• 2 years of experience working in one location
• 2 years of experience working as a Traveler
• Skill Sets Required: Basic aseptic technique, circulating independently, multispecialty competence
• Experience with Mako and Davinci systems

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN preferred
• CNOR preferred
• Scrub experience preferred
