About the Role
Travel nursing position for an Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) in Salem, Massachusetts. Assignment duration is 13 weeks with 40 hours per week on 10-hour evening shifts.
- 1-2 rotations to weekend per 4-week schedule
- 1-2 rotations to evenings (1p-11:30pm) per 4-week schedule
- On-call required
Unit: Operating Room – Level III Trauma OR in a complex community setting.
Responsibilities
- Circulate independently in a multispecialty OR
- Perform basic aseptic technique
- Operate Mako and Davinci systems
- Clinician-to-patient ratio of 1:1
- Care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
- Adhere to call requirements: 1 holiday call, 2-3 weekday calls, and 1-2 weekend calls per 4-week schedule
- Rotate shifts as required (day rotate includes 2-3 evening shifts per 4-week schedule; weekend rotation includes 1-2 shifts per 4-week schedule)
Requirements
- 2 years of experience working in one location as an OR RN
- 2 years of experience as a travel nurse
- Massachusetts RN license
- AHA BLS certification
- BSN and CNOR preferred
- Scrub experience preferred
