Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse - $3,225 per week

Job Summary

This position involves providing specialized perioperative care within the surgical setting, focusing on orthopedic and eye surgery. The role requires clinical expertise in the operating room environment to ensure patient safety and support surgical teams during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized perioperative care in an operating room setting.
• Support surgical teams during orthopedic and eye procedures.
• Ensure patient safety throughout surgical interventions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in an operating room setting.
• Strong skills in ortho and eye service lines.
• Scrub experience highly preferred; strong circulating skills accepted.
• Recent Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience from within the past 2 years is mandatory.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.

Schedule

• Days shift, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Work spans Monday through Sunday with no block schedules.
• Flexible with schedule to meet unit and patient care demands, including working 2 out of four holidays, call requirements twice weekly, and on every 3-5 weekends as needed.
• Reliable transportation equipped for winter months is necessary.
