Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse - $2,225 per week

Operating Room (OR) Nurse travel assignment in Wichita, Kansas. This 13-week seasonal role involves working in a busy surgical unit specializing in orthopedic, neurologic, vascular, and other specialized procedures. The position focuses on delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment with an emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Schedule

• Days shift, 12 hours per shift
• Minimum 36 hours per week
• Assignment duration: 09/22/2026 to 12/22/2026
• Flexible shift options: 4-10s or 3-12s, with routine late night and weekend duties

Responsibilities

• Assist in various surgical procedures including orthopedics, gynecology, general surgery, urology, cardiothoracic, vascular, plastics, pediatrics, spine, neuro, trauma, and minimally invasive surgeries such as TAVR and MAKO
• Maintain patient safety and provide exceptional surgical support

Requirements

• Valid nursing license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• Minimum of one year current acute care operating room nurse experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with DaVinci Robotics, orthopedic, neurological, and vascular procedures
• Prior Meditech EMR experience
