Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse - $2,856 per week

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Offer surgical patient care by assessing, planning, and implementing the nursing care patients receive before, during and after surgery.
• Serve as patient educator, circulating nurse and/or scrub nurse.
• Work within the operating suite but outside of the sterile field as a circulating OR nurse.
• Handle and prepare operating instruments and equipment within the sterile field as a scrub OR nurse.

Requirements

• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Surgery setting.
• Active RN License.
• BLS & ACLS Certifications.
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.

Qualifications

• Prefer candidates with experience in an Acute Care Surgery setting.
• Must have active RN license.
• Must hold BLS & ACLS certifications.
• Other qualifications may vary based on client facility requirements.

Skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of perioperative nursing practices.

Pay

• Based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
