Role & Responsibilities
- Assist patients in a fast-paced acute care setting to regain independence after medical events.
- Evaluate abilities, develop personalized treatment plans, and support discharge planning.
- Work in a long-term acute care environment, primarily Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
Qualifications & Skills
- Master’s degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program
- Current Texas license
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience
- BLS certification through AHAS
- PREFERRED: Experience in a Level 1 Trauma center
Key Duties
- Evaluate patient abilities
- Create and implement treatment plans
- Contribute to discharge processes
