Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) - Weekly Pay

About the role

Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional skills and independence.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement personalized therapy plans based on assessments and patient goals
• Provide hands-on therapy using adaptive techniques, modalities, and assistive devices
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies to enhance daily living activities
• Collaborate with healthcare team for coordinated, holistic care
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Participate in quality assurance and professional development activities
• Follow infection control, safety protocols, and regulatory standards
• Assist in discharge planning for smooth patient transitions

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid OT license per state regulations
• Current BLS certification
• Preferred: Master’s degree or higher, NBCOT certification, OT assistant experience (new grads welcome)
• Critical thinking, strong communication, and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to assist with equipment and patient mobility
• Proficiency in written and verbal English, PC skills
• Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and handle physical and sensory demands
