Travel Occupational Therapist - Long Term Care - $2,258 per week
About the role
The Occupational Therapist (OT) will effectively screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and/or activities of daily living (ADL) physical functioning disorders. The OT will develop appropriate plans of care in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice standards, utilizing standardized assessments and evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions. The OT will provide rehabilitative and skilled treatment interventions, administer various procedures, assess patient progress, and communicate effectively with healthcare team members.
Responsibilities
- Screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and ADL physical functioning disorders.
- Develop and implement appropriate plans of care following regulatory and clinical standards.
- Administer rehabilitative treatment interventions including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, and therapeutic exercises.
- Absess patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary.
- Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers regarding physical disorders.
- Document all services provided and maintain patient records according to company policy.
- Participate in required meetings such as patient care conferences and rehabilitation meetings.
- Supervise and support occupational therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and students.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of OT experience.
- Experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) or Rehabilitation.
- Active Occupational Therapist license.
Qualifications
New graduates considered with Level II experience.

Pay
Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
This position offers an 8-hour day shift schedule, working a total of 35 hours per week.
