Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) – Long Term Care - $2,258 per week
About the role
The Occupational Therapist will screen, evaluate, and develop care plans for patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders. Responsibilities include providing rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions, assessing patient progress, and participating in patient care conferences.
Responsibilities
- Screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders.
- Develop appropriate plans of care adhering to regulatory and clinical practice standards.
- Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
- Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions.
- Administer various rehabilitation procedures including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, and exercises.
- Document all required information in the electronic documentation system and maintain patient records.
- Assess patient progress and adjust treatments based on evaluation outcomes.
- Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers.
- Participate in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and required trainings.
- Supervise occupational therapy assistants and rehabilitation aides or students.
Requirements
- 1+ years of Occupational Therapy experience.
- Experience in Long Term Care (LTC) or Rehabilitation.
- Active Occupational Therapy license.
Qualifications
New graduates considered with Level II experience, not just Level I observation.

Pay
Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
