About the role
Occupational Therapist (OT) Inpatient in a home care setting. This full-time position involves evaluating, treating, and coordinating patient care within an interdisciplinary team. The role emphasizes patient-centered therapy with an average visit duration of over 60 minutes, promoting meaningful therapeutic interventions and collaboration with patients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients' functional ability
- Provide direct treatments and select therapeutic modalities
- Communicate with all members of the healthcare team
- Document evaluations, treatment goals, and objectives
- Teach patients and family members the rationale for treatments and procedures
Schedule
- Start Date: 09/14/2026
- Duration: 16 weeks (concludes on 01/04/2027)
- Shift: 12 hours, days
- Minimum of 36 hours per week
- Float rotation may be required
Requirements
- Licensed Occupational Therapist in Vermont and New Hampshire or hold an unencumbered compact license
- BS in Occupational Therapy or postgraduate Occupational Therapy Certification program
- Passed National Registration Exam
- Experience in a home health setting preferred
