Travel Occupational Therapist Assistant - $1,252 per week

About the role

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) for a position in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. This is a 13-week assignment lasting 40 hours per week, with a 13-hour shift. The position requires 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant and a current BLS and COTA National certification. State-specific licensure is also required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic activities and interventions as directed by the supervising OT.
• Monitor patient progress and report observations to the OT to support treatment plan adjustments.
• Document patient performance and progress accurately and in a timely manner per facility and state guidelines.
• Assist patients with exercises, mobility training, and use of adaptive equipment.
• Educate patients and families on techniques to improve independence in daily activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas and equipment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support coordinated care.
• Comply with state licensing rules and adhere to facility and professional standards.

Requirements

• BLS
• 1 Year Experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
• Current COTA National Certification
• State-specific Licensure Required

Pay

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
