Travel Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) responsible for supporting patient rehabilitation under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans to help patients improve daily living and functional skills.
• Deliver therapeutic activities, monitor patient progress, and report observations to the supervising OT.
• Document patient performance accurately and timely, adhering to facility and state guidelines.
• Support patients with exercises, mobility training, and use of adaptive equipment.
• Educate patients and families to enhance independence in daily activities.
• Maintain clean and organized treatment areas and collaborate with the healthcare team.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, facility policies, and professional standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Current BLS certification and NBCOT (COTA) certification required.
• State licensure required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient handling skills.
• Knowledge of anatomy, motor function, and occupational therapy principles.
• Ability to lift, assist patients safely, and work well within a team.

Schedule

This role involves working 8-hour days, providing essential therapy services across diverse patient populations, and adhering to all safety and professional standards.
