Travel Occupational Therapist Assistant - $1,252 per week

About the role

We are seeking a travel Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) to work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OT) in a healthcare facility.

Responsibilities

• Implementing therapeutic activities and interventions based on treatment plans.
• Monitoring and reporting patient progress to the supervising OT.
• Documenting patient performance and outcomes accurately and timely.
• Assisting patients with exercises, mobility, and adaptive equipment use.
• Educating patients and families on techniques to enhance independence.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of treatment areas and equipment.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members for coordinated care.
• Ensuring compliance with licensing, facility, and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an OTA.
• Current BLS certification and state-specific licensure.
• Possess COTA national certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of anatomy, motor functions, and therapy principles.
• Ability to lift and assist patients safely.

Pay

Schedule

13-week travel assignment with 40 hours per week on day shifts.
