Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy services in outpatient orthopedic care with pediatric capabilities
  • Conduct OT evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions to improve ROM, strength, coordination, and functional activities
  • Support activities of daily living and client independence through adaptive equipment, environmental modifications, and education
  • Document assessments, goals, treatment progress, and discharge plans in accordance with professional and regulatory guidelines
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other rehabilitation professionals to ensure cohesive care and appropriate transitions
  • Maintain equipment safety and inventory; participate in quality improvement and program efficiency efforts

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of occupational therapy experience
  • Experience in outpatient ortho and pediatric care
  • Ability to work either 4x10s or 8x5s, with flexibility to accommodate scheduling
  • Compliance information and documentation due two weeks prior to start
  • Ability to work effectively in a rural outpatient setting
