Travel Occupational Therapist Acute Care Job

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive OT assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for residents
• Deliver and adjust therapy to improve activities of daily living, mobility, cognition, and functional independence
• Monitor progress, document outcomes, re-evaluate goals, and communicate findings to the interdisciplinary care team
• Provide evidence-based interventions and participate in discharge planning and caregiver education
• Ensure safety through fall-prevention strategies, adaptations to environment, and appropriate patient education
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with SNF standards and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Active Occupational Therapy license for Massachusetts (or eligibility for licensure)
• 1+ year of OT experience in acute care or skilled nursing settings preferred
• Ability to work 35 hours per week in a fast-paced, team-based environment
• Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship (as required by the assignment)

This travel assignment begins 07/20/2026 and runs for 13 weeks in a skilled nursing facility setting. Guaranteed hours are 35 per week with a pay range of $2,103 to $2,192 per week. Shift is 5x8 Days with work hours typically 08:00–16:30. This role focuses on acute care workflows within a long-term care environment and requires collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.
