Travel Nurse RN - Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Skilled Nursing - $2,446 per week

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a 14-week travel assignment in Schofield, WI. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehab environments, with the ability to manage patient care effectively across various units.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients across multiple units, including Rehab, SNF, LTAC, LTC, and Short-Term Stay.
• Administer medications, manage tube feedings (PEG, J-tubes, G-tubes), and handle Foley catheter care.
• Perform complex wound care, stoma care, wound vac management, and ileostomy/colostomy care.
• Manage IV fluids and antibiotics; start IVs and draw labs as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems (PointClickCare experience preferred).

Position Details & Ratios

• Shift / Schedule: 5x8s, Mid shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM); 40 hours per week.
• Patient Ratios: 15:1 (up to 18–20:1) for Short-Term Stay and Rehab; typically 25:1 for LTC/SNF settings.
• Floating: Candidates must be comfortable floating to all units within the facility.
• Dress Code: Any color scrubs.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in LTC, SNF, LTAC, or Rehab settings.
• Certifications: Active BLS/CPR certification required. IV certification preferred.
• Licensure: Active RN license with no disciplinary actions or hits.
• Geographic Eligibility: Must reside outside a 50-minute radius of the facility (no local candidates).
