Travel Nurse RN - Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Skilled Nursing - $2,446 per week

NuWest Travel Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) assignment in De Pere, Wisconsin.

About the role

This is a 14-week travel assignment with 40 hours per week, 5x8s night shifts (10:00 PM – 6:30 AM). The position involves floating across facility units including Rehab, SNF, LTAC, LTC, and Short Term Stay, with patient ratios typically ranging from 15:1 to 20:1 in short-term/rehab and up to 25:1 in LTC/SNF.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and deliver comprehensive nursing care for patients in short-term rehab, long-term care (LTC), and skilled nursing settings.
• Monitor vital signs and perform complete clinical assessments.
• Administer prescribed medications, manage IV fluids and antibiotics, start IVs, and draw lab work as needed.
• Provide specialized treatments including wound care, stoma care, wound vac management, PEG/G/J-tube feedings, colostomy/ileostomy care, and basic tracheostomy management.
• Maintain accurate medical records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary care teams.

Pay

Pay range: $1,885.00 - $2,217.00 per week. Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
