Job Details
- Schedule: Dayshift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license
- Minimum 2 years of OR experience including prior travel experience
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced surgical environment
- Previous OR experience required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with surgical assistance
- Familiarity with hospital policies and regulatory standards such as the State Nurse Practice Act and AORN guidelines
Additional Information
The operating room nurse demonstrates critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership skills in planning and delivering patient care during surgical procedures. Responsibilities include ensuring supplies, managing case timeliness, communicating with families, updating physician preference cards, scrubbing and assisting during surgeries, and supervising personnel delivering patient care.

Pay Package
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
