Travel Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $2,315 per week

About the role

Operating Room Nurse, located in a surgical center environment, provides preoperative care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. This role involves supporting surgical team activities, scrub duties, and ensuring patient safety throughout perioperative processes.

Responsibilities

• Support surgical team activities and scrub duties
• Ensure patient safety throughout perioperative processes
• Assist with all procedures including same-day and overnight stays
• Utilize electronic medical records systems such as Sunrise and Epic (go-live date April 1)

Requirements

• BLS Certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Operating Room specialty
• Willing to wait for license submission
• Experience with surgical care, robotics, and IV skills
• 50-mile radius submission rule; candidates must include a copy of their unexpired driver’s license with submissions

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week
• Participation in weekend rotation and on-call schedule, including 1 weekend call day and 1 scheduled weekend shift per 4-week cycle
• Occasional midnights and holidays may be required based on departmental needs
