Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse in Nashville, TN. Schedule

Day shift, 12-hour shifts
Minimum 36 hours per week
12-week assignment (October 12, 2026 – January 4, 2027)

Requirements

Valid nursing license
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
STABLE certification
3 years of neonatal or NICU experience
Ability to work in Nashville, TN
Compliance with dress code: navy or ceil blue, any shade of grey, or white scrubs

Preferred Qualifications

Previous NICU experience
Familiarity with Philips monitors
Experience with Meditech documentation system
Experience with Centricity Perinatal documentation system

Responsibilities

Provide specialized nursing care for neonatal patients in a busy NICU setting
Support family-centered care
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Perform procedures on unit per unit-specific policies and guidelines
Float to comparable areas of high need as required

Pay

Pay package based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
