Job Summary

Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Neurosciences located in Springfield, MA. This role involves providing specialized patient care within a 37-bed Neurosciences unit that manages complex neurological and neurosurgical conditions.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience with a focus in neuroscience preferred
• Required certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, and NIH Stroke Scale certification required annually
• Completion of five stroke-based continuing education units annually

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous neuroscience experience highly preferred

• The unit provides comprehensive care for conditions such as stroke, epilepsy, spinal cord injury, infections, tumors, and neuro trauma.

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
