The role involves working on a unit with 35 private patient rooms, two nurses stations, and a mix of nursing staff, including a shift supervisor and patient care technicians. The position requires caring for an adult patient population, managing multiple patients in a surgical and medical crossover setting, and collaborating with a diverse healthcare team.

Schedule

• Rotating 8-hour shifts
• Minimum 40 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• Flexibility for holiday requests

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a 35-bed medical-surgical unit with private rooms
• Adapt to a rotating shift schedule

Requirements

• Valid nursing license
• Education as a registered nurse
• CPR certification
• 0 years of experience
• Ability to work weekends and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in medical-surgical nursing
• BLS certification
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
