Travel nursing position for a Medical Surgical Neurology Floor (Registered Nurse) in Fargo, North Dakota. This role involves providing patient care in a large hospital setting, particularly for neuro patients, on a 32-bed unit. Candidates will work rotating 12-hour shifts, including every other weekend and holiday, with the possibility of floating to different units as needed. The position is ideal for nurses with recent med-surg experience and the ability to adapt to varying unit needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care on a 32-bed neuro unit in a large hospital
• Work rotating 12-hour shifts, including every other weekend and holiday
• Float to all units/departments within the healthcare organization as needed
• Primarily work on the 6AB unit but may be assigned to other medical-surgical units across multiple healthcare centers

Requirements

• Active North Dakota or Compact RN license (willing to obtain)
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• NIHSS certification
• Minimum 1 year of recent medical-surgical nursing experience in a large hospital setting (200+ beds)
• Experience with neuro patients preferred
• EPIC Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience
• Strong medical-surgical clinical skills
• Successfully completed travel experience including positive references
• Minimum 2 years of recent MS experience
• All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility and wear navy blue scrubs

Preferred Qualifications

• Neuro patient experience (advantageous but not required)

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts, every other weekend and holiday
• Rotation may include consecutive days or nights depending on unit needs
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 4-5:1 on day shift and 6:1 on night shift
