About the role
Travel Medical Surgical Floor RN (MS) assignment in Lebanon, New Hampshire. This position provides direct patient care on a 21-bed Neuro Medical-Surgical unit specializing in neuromuscular disorders, meningitis, stroke, traumatic brain injury (TBI), spinal cord injury, and surgical procedures including tumor resections, spinal surgery, and head and neck cancers. The role includes rotational shifts and on-call responsibilities within a Level IV Epilepsy center.
Responsibilities
- Manage chest tubes, tubes, and drips (e.g., Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, amiodarone)
- Provide post-surgical care for lines, tubes, and drains
- Care for patients with Trachs/Laryngectomies
- Monitor telemetry
- Manage complex wounds
- Care for central lines
- Perform blood draws
- Deliver specialized care for post-operative and neurology-specific patients
Requirements
- Valid RN license
- Certifications in complex wound care, line care, and telemetry monitoring
- Comfort with handling high-acuity medical and surgical patients
- On-call availability
Schedule
- Rotating 12-hour shifts
- 36 hours per week
