About the role

Work 12-hour variable shifts with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4-5 on Days/Evenings and 1:6-7 on Evenings/Nights
Guaranteed 36 hours per week
Every other weekend and every other holiday required
Occasional float to other departments to assist with tasks such as vital checks, but will not take on a patient load; may float to other locations including Merrill, Wausau, Stanley, and Langlade
May be placed on call during low census hours with a call back minimum of 2 hours
Work on a 20-bed unit with a typical census of 8-10 patients in a 25-bed critical access hospital; ICU and MedSurg are a shared unit with 3 ICU beds

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience required; ED or ICU experience is very helpful
Must be able to read telemetry strips
Epic charting experience preferred
Required certifications: Wisconsin RN license, AHA or ARC BLS, ACLS, and PALS
Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
Clean and work-appropriate scrubs required; any color acceptable

Pay

Estimated gross weekly pay: $2,304 with a $500 contract completion bonus.
