About the role
This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care within a medical surgical unit, assessing patient needs, developing and implementing treatment plans, and evaluating patient outcomes. The RN will deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and participate in ongoing education and quality improvement activities. Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and standards of professional nursing practice
- Utilize specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills to provide appropriate care based on physical and developmental age of patients
Requirements
- Current RN license (state-specific, temporary/interim, or compact)
- BLS certification
- At least 1 year of clinical experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months in the Medical Surgical specialty
