Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $2,090 per week

Job Summary

Medical Surgical Floor Nurse in a facility environment. This position involves providing high-quality patient care in a hospital setting, utilizing the nursing process in collaboration with interdisciplinary team members. The role requires adherence to established policies, procedures, and standards to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Schedule

12‑hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The assignment runs for 13 weeks, starting 10/05/2026, and includes every other weekend and holiday coverage. Travel RN may be required to float to other units.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments.
• Document care accurately.
• Develop patient care plans.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.
• Support the patient’s longitudinal care plan through interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Apply critical thinking and escalation to maintain patient safety and experience.

Required Qualifications

• Education verification.
• Current Wisconsin RN license.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
