Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $2,080 per week

Job Summary

The project involves a Medical Surgical (MS) nurse working on a general surgical floor in Torrington, Wyoming. This role focuses on providing high-quality nursing care to patients in accordance with organizational policies and standards of professional nursing practice. The nurse will assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient care, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and best practices.

Schedule

• Night shifts, 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Valid registered nurse (RN) license in the state of Wyoming or appropriate compact licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• At least 1 year of recent experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Professional certification relevant to medical-surgical nursing

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, and developmental needs
• Formulate care plans, coordinate care, and document interventions and responses accurately
• Participate in professional development activities
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives
• Support patient education and discharge planning
