About the role
Medical Surgical Floor (MS) registered nurse in an urban healthcare setting. This position involves providing comprehensive patient care on a 23-bed unit with a focus on cardiac, neurologic, post-surgical, and general medical conditions. The role requires strong assessment and critical thinking skills, with bedside responsibilities during 12-hour day shifts. Location: Midtown, Evansville, Indiana. Start date: 10/05/2026. Duration: 13 weeks.
Requirements
- Current active compact license
- AHA BLS and NIHSS certifications
- Two years of strong Medical-Surgical nursing experience
- Recent EPIC charting experience
- Minimum of 0 years of experience

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
- 12-hour days from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
- Minimum of 36 hours per week (guaranteed)
- Potential for up to 48 hours per week upon request
- Three weekends per six-week schedule
- Every other holiday required
