Travel Nurse RN - Manager - $2,345 per week
Pyramid Consulting is seeking a travel nurse RN Manager for a 13-week assignment in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
About the role
This is a weekday, day-shift travel nursing opportunity in a pediatric primary care setting. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with no overnight shifts. The contract duration is 13 weeks, and the position requires 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, patient-centered pediatric and family-focused nursing care
- Assess patients, develop care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes
- Care for patients with moderate to complex health needs
- Collaborate with families, providers, and multidisciplinary care teams
- Provide patient and family education and support discharge planning
- Prioritize and delegate care appropriately
- Recognize changes in patient condition and communicate effectively with the care team
- Participate in patient care rounds and contribute recommendations to the plan of care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow regulatory requirements
- Promote a positive patient experience through compassionate, respectful care
- Support unit and departmental Professional Practice Model (PPM) councils
Requirements
- Nursing Diploma required
- Active PA or NJ RN License
- BLS Certification – AHA, Red Cross, or qualifying organization
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Proficiency with clinical information systems and basic Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of nursing experience
- Pediatric nursing experience
- Previous supervisory experience
- BSN
- Professional Nursing Organization membership
