Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $3,025 per week

Job Summary

The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position is based in an acute care facility located in Elko, Nevada. This role involves providing specialized care within the Womens Services Unit, including labor, postpartum, and nursery care, to adult and newborn patients. The RN will support a level 1 nursery and participate in comprehensive maternity services.

Schedule

Days shift, 12 hours shift hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring.
• A minimum of 2+ years of experience in labor and delivery, postpartum, and nursery care, including management of hemorrhages and fetal monitoring.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with spontaneous vertex delivery (SVD) without vaginal birth after Cesarean (VBAC), Cesarean section procedures, OB triage, Non-stress testing, and neonatal care.

Additional Information

• Facility is an LDRP unit performing labor, recovery, triage, postpartum, and nursery services.
• Care involves managing pre-eclampsia, eclampsia, hypertensive crises, and neonatal hyperbilirubinemia.
• The unit is equipped with Omnicell Medication Dispenser, Baxter Pumps, Masimo Monitors, and GE Centricity Fetal Heart Rate Monitoring system.

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
