Job Details Position Description: Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients in the Labor and Delivery Department according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of nursing staff, coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams. Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice, Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification required, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required. Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week. Additional Information: Essential functions include data collection, care planning, implementation, coordination, and evaluation. The nurse collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare team members to provide safe, compassionate, and effective care, including discharge planning and delegation of duties.
