Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $3,025 per week
Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Nurse in Glendale, California. This position involves providing specialized care in a designated Labor and Delivery department with a focus on managing both routine and high-risk pregnancies. The role requires delivering comprehensive patient care during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods, supporting a busy unit with a variety of patient needs.
Job Details
- Shift Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Certifications including BLS, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Advanced Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM) from AWHONN, and ACLS.
- A minimum of 2 years of prior experience in Labor and Delivery.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with high-risk pregnancies, NICU background for feeder/grower, and familiarity with Cerner Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
Team Support
Team supports include OB techs and scrub techs in Labor and Delivery.
Additional Job Information
On-call not required. L&D is identified as the primary staffing need, with a focus on managing complex deliveries.
Certification Requirement
Must hold ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certificates.
