Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $2,590 per week

About the role

This role involves providing specialized care for high-risk and low-risk ante-partum, intra-partum pregnant women, as well as immediate postpartum and stabilization of normal newborns. The position features a night shift schedule at a Level 3 Trauma Center with a focus on maternal and neonatal care.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for ante-partum, intra-partum, and postpartum patients
• Stabilize normal newborns
• Perform skills including intrauterine pressure catheter (IUPC), fetal scope electrode (FSE), IV starts, and circulating cesarean sections
• Monitor patients using electronic fetal monitoring systems
• Support NICU and telemetry monitoring as needed

Requirements

• Valid RN licensure
• BLS, NRP, and Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certifications
• Minimum two years of labor and delivery experience
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with GE/Centricity fetal monitoring system and Phillips electronic fetal monitoring/tele EFM
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical record system and Baxter IV pumps
• NICU support and telemetry monitoring experience

Schedule

• Night shift, 12-hour shifts
• Minimum 36 hours per week
• Sunday to Saturday cycle
• Orientation: 2-3 shifts based on competency
• On-call only if scheduled and called off due to low census
• One holiday possible
