Job Summary
The healthcare provider is seeking a registered nurse with experience in Mother/Baby Couplet Care for an opportunity in Charleston, South Carolina. This position involves delivering specialized nursing care in a Level 2 Mother/Baby unit, supporting clinical needs associated with Mother and Baby patient populations. The role requires adaptability to shift rotations to ensure patient-centered care.
Job Details
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Current South Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) license or holds a valid multi-state compact license.
- One (1) year of experience in a Level 2 Mother/Baby or equivalent maternity setting.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Certified in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, highly desired.
Additional Information
- The role involves constant patient contact, including tasks such as assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care following established standards in accordance with the South Carolina Nurse Practice Act.
- The nurse will work in an environment that requires frequent standing, walking, lifting, and handling of patients and equipment.
- Exposure to blood, body fluids, and infectious materials is possible.
- The position may require weekends, holidays, and working under stressful conditions, including urgent responses and irregular hours.

Pay Package
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
