The Labor and Delivery Department registered nurse (RN) position is located in Middlebury, Vermont. The role involves providing care in a birthing center, with primarily night shift hours. Job Details
- Location: Middlebury, Vermont
- Shift: Night shift (12-hour shifts)
- Schedule: An average of 2-12s and 2-8s per week, with some variation weekly; schedule may be adjusted to meet clinical needs; minimum of every other weekend required
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license with fundamental nursing certifications (AHA BLS and NRP)
- One year of labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care experience
- Epic electronic medical records experience within the past 2 years (non-negotiable)
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- Ability to float between medical-surgical and emergency department units
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior travel experience preferred
Additional Information
- Reliable transportation recommended, vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November through April
- Employment gaps over 90 days should be explained in the application
- All work history information (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) must be complete prior to submission
- No block schedules; bi-weekly orientations scheduled, next on 07/20/2026

Pay Package
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
