Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $2,220 per week

Job Summary

Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Mother/Baby Couplet Care in Tucson, Arizona. This position involves assessing, planning, and providing high-quality nursing care to postpartum patients and their newborns. The RN will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes, utilizing specialized knowledge and clinical skills within the scope of professional nursing practice.

Schedule

• 12 hours, nights

Required Qualifications

• Current, valid RN license in the state of practice or abide by compact licensure requirements
• BLS certification is required
• Minimum of one year working as a Registered Nurse in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or higher
• Professional certification related to maternal and newborn care is preferred

Additional Information

• Provides direct patient care to mothers and newborns, including assessments and interventions
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to develop and revise care plans
• Documents care and patient responses in accordance with policy and standards
• Participates in quality improvement activities and may mentor or orient new staff

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
