Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $2,220 per week

Job Summary

Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Mother/Baby Couplet Care in Chandler, Arizona. The position involves providing comprehensive nursing care to postpartum mothers and their newborns, ensuring safety, comfort, and education.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice, BLS certification is required.
• Experience in maternal/newborn nursing is preferred, and clinical performance competencies must be maintained through annual validations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Additional related education and/or experience are advantageous.

Additional Information

• The RN will assess maternal and neonatal health status, develop and implement individualized care plans, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and educate new parents.
• Documentation must be timely, legible, and accurate, reflecting objective and subjective patient data, nursing interventions, and responses to care.
• The role may include supervising other staff and participating in quality improvement activities, professional development, and patient education.
