Travel Nurse RN - Intermediate Care - $2,570 per week

Job Summary

The Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is based in a fast-paced, Level II Trauma Center environment. The selected candidate will provide comprehensive nursing care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients experiencing severe but usually non-life-threatening conditions. The role emphasizes clinical excellence within a patient-centered, multidisciplinary setting, with a focus on assessments, therapies, and interventions specific to neuro and medical cases.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• Nevada RN license prior to start
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• A minimum of 2 years of IMC/Stepdown experience, including experience with vasopressors, titratable drips, arterial lines, neuro-stepdown patients, procedural sedation, thrombolytics, and trach management.
• Candidates must pass an ECG/Telemetry exam that includes reading/interpreting rhythm strips.

Preferred Qualifications

• Medical or Neuro Intensive Care Unit experience.

Additional Information

• Float rotation may be required within the organization depending on staffing needs.
• The role involves working in an extremely busy environment serving a large geographic radius, with potential shifts on major holidays and requirement to work up to an additional shift during each 4-week schedule period.
• Travelers must be available to work at least 2 of the 3 major holidays.

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
