Travel Nurse RN - Intermediate Care - $2,140 per week

About the role

IMCU (Intermediate Care Unit) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in a healthcare organization. This role involves providing specialized patient care within a focused medical unit, supporting the organization's commitment to high-quality healthcare delivery during night shifts. The position starts on 10/05/2026 and ends on 01/02/2027, with orientation occurring every other Monday.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for a diverse patient population including medical-surgical, telemetry, cardiac, neuro, and stroke patients within a focused inpatient unit
• Serve in a charge nurse capacity as required
• Work night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
• Maintain a 2-3 weekend schedule per month, with flexibility depending on staffing needs

Requirements

• Active VA or Compact licensed registered nurse
• Current certifications
• Certified in clinical skills as required
• Minimum of 2 years of work history, including explanation for any employment gaps over 90 days
• Prior travel experience required for all Central positions
• Must have worked a minimum of one major holiday (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day)

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with Cerner electronic medical record system
• Active VA or Compact license upon start
• Previous charge nurse experience

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
