About the role

Travel Intermediate Care (IMCU) RN position at La Porte Hospital, IN. Assignment starts as soon as possible and lasts 13 weeks with a two-week cancellation option and no penalty. No required holidays, but holidays may be blacked out depending on unit need. Maximum amount of requested time off (RTO) is 0.

Schedule

• 13-week contract
• 36 hours per week
• 12-hour day shifts: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
• No on-call requirements
• Guaranteed hours: 72 bi-weekly (96 bi-weekly not an option)
• Block scheduling not available
• Floating required: may float to Med/Surg

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced intermediate care unit
• Patient ratio: 4 or 5:1
• Unit size: 30 beds

Requirements

• Active RN license in Indiana
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• 1–2 years of Critical Care experience
• Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required
• Approved orientation dates dependent on years of experience
• Scrub color: Navy blue
