Job Summary
Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Registered Nurse (RN) in Lynchburg, Virginia. This position involves working night shifts in a 12-hour rotation, providing care for a diverse patient population including medical-surgical, telemetry, cardiac, neuro, and stroke patients. The RN will participate in charge responsibilities, contribute to a collaborative team environment, and support the educational integration of students and new hires within a teaching hospital setting.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid Virginia license or compact license, active VA / Compact license required upon start, no minimum experience required, excellent communication skills, and current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Prior charge nurse experience, Cerner electronic health record system familiarity, and experience working in a teaching hospital environment.

Pay
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
