Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $2,190 per week

Job Summary

Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nurse position available in an acute care setting. The role involves caring for COVID‑positive patients, cardiac patients post‑angioplasty, and those with complex medical conditions such as sepsis, diabetic ketoacidosis, and postoperative complications within a 20‑bed critical care unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality patient care during 12‑hour night shifts.
• Manage care for COVID‑positive patients (approximately 50% of beds).
• Care for cardiac patients post‑angioplasty.
• Treat complex conditions including sepsis, diabetic ketoacidosis, and postoperative complications.
• Utilize EPIC charting system for documentation.
• Potentially float outside of ICU with a low likelihood of being pulled.

Schedule

12‑hour night shifts, weekends as scheduled, minimum of 36 hours per week. Assignment length: 13 weeks starting 09/28/2026.

Requirements

• Required Qualifications:
  • Valid nursing license (submission required).
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years ICU experience.
  • Willingness to wait for license submission.
  • Familiarity with EPIC charting system.
  • Compliance with 50‑mile radius rule.
  • Open to block scheduling and contracts shorter than 16 weeks.
  • Copy of unexpired driver’s license required with submissions.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience caring for COVID patients in a critical care environment.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
