Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $2,190 per week

About the role

The organization is seeking an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a position in Saint Albans, VT. The role involves caring for critically ill and step‑down patients, including vented patients requiring respiratory support, and managing basic cardiac and insulin drips. The ICU RN will work night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for critically ill and step‑down patients, including those on ventilators.
• Manage basic cardiac and insulin drips.
• Respond to Rapid Response and Code Blue events.
• Interpret telemetry rhythm strips to assist newer staff.
• Work night shifts on a 12‑hour schedule, 36 hours per week, every other weekend.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Vermont or a multistate compact license.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Preferred: 3‑4 years of recent critical care experience.

Skills

• Care of vented patients with respiratory therapy support.
• Administration and monitoring of basic cardiac and insulin drips.
• Rapid Response and Code Blue intervention.
• Telemetry rhythm strip interpretation.
