Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $1,960 per week

About the role

A position in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is available in an acute care setting at a trauma level 2, stroke certified facility. The role involves providing specialized care, managing high-acuity patients, and troubleshooting ventilators. Adaptability to float between units is required.

Responsibilities

• Float between Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVIU) and Neonatal and Surgical Intensive Care Units (NSICU)
• May float to Progressive Care Unit (PCU), which is very high acuity
• Charge registered nurse on unit 24/7 who is not assigned a patient
• Read own telemetry strips and troubleshoot ventilators
• Work every other weekend shift
• Manage drips requiring titration up and down (Pharmacy available 24/7)

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience
• Licensure to submit
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• No BSN required

Schedule

• 12-hour day shifts
• Every other weekend
• Minimum of 36 hours per week
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 09/21/2026
