About the role

The ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Registered Nurse position is located in a healthcare facility setting. This role involves delivering meticulous nursing care to critically ill patients, following established clinical interview processes and nursing protocols. The nurse will collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes and uphold standards of professional nursing practice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver meticulous nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Follow established clinical interview processes and nursing protocols
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to achieve high-quality patient outcomes
• Uphold standards of professional nursing practice
• Adhere to the organization's attendance policy, emphasizing punctuality and attendance
• Perform ICU nursing duties with potential float to CVICU as needed

Requirements

• 3 or more years of experience in ICU
• Completion of at least one travel assignment
• Michigan license verification
• Current certifications including BLS, NIHSS, and ACLS (American Heart Association)

Qualifications

• Experience floating to CVICU
• Skills checklist completed within the past year
• Familiarity with the hospital's clinical interview and onboarding process
