Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $2,379 per week

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for an Emergency Department position in Little Rock, Arkansas. The role is for an RN specializing in ED, with a start date of October 19, 2026, lasting 6 weeks, requiring 48 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts. This is an immediate travel nursing opening. TotalMed RN is a Top Ten travel nursing and healthcare staffing agency that places nurses, therapists, pharmacists, and other clinicians across all 50 states, focusing on matching highly‑skilled staff with facilities to ensure adequate staffing and better patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse team of caregivers to appropriately evaluate, triage, and implement care using correct procedures and physician instructions.
• Care for patients in a fast‑paced, urgent, and emergency environment.
• Perform minor medical operations.
• Advise patients and family on illnesses or injuries.
• Plan long‑term care needs.
• Document medical history.
• Check for patient allergies.
• Obtain patient vital signs.
• Monitor patients' emotional and physical well‑being.
• Provide basic bedside care.
• Clean and bandage wounds.
• Provide IV therapy.
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
• Stand and walk for long periods; bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty.
• Easily lift 20 pounds; moving or lifting patients may require up to 50 pounds.
• Possess good stress‑coping skills and relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.

Requirements

• 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current PALS certification.
• Current TNCC certification.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning the assignment.
