Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $2,211 per week
About the Role
ARMStaffing is hiring skilled and dedicated Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurses (RNs) for a 13-week travel assignment in Hazleton, Pennsylvania. This role involves providing critical care to patients in emergency situations, with a focus on trauma, acute illnesses, and urgent medical conditions.
Responsibilities
- Triage, assess, and treat patients in emergency situations
- Administer medications, start IVs, and assist with procedures
- Collaborate with emergency physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure continuity of care
- Educate patients and families during high-stress events
Requirements
- Active RN license (Compact license preferred)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS and TNCC preferred
- Minimum 1–2 years of recent Emergency Room experience
- Strong critical thinking, rapid decision-making, and multitasking skills
- Ability to stay calm and confident under pressure
Schedule
- Duration: 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12 hours, evenings (11:00 AM – 11:00 PM)
