Opportunity
• 13-week assignment
• 12-hour variable shifts rotating between 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM and 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Guaranteed 48 hours per week with overtime billable after 48 hours worked in a week
• Float to all inpatient units as needed, including IMC and CTU units
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours, which can be applied in hour increments as needed
• 8-bed observation unit with a patient ratio of 1:4
• Care for patients with conditions including anemia, cellulitis, COPD, dehydration, pre and post-op urology and GI, and cardiac drips (Cardizem, Nitro, Insulin, Heparin)
• Average patient stay up to 48 hours with a high volume of admissions and discharges
• Ability to read and interpret EKG strips required; EKG exam required during compliance
• Must be able to manage independently, complete tasks in a timely manner, and collaborate with team and ancillary staff
• Positive attitude and flexibility with constant changes throughout a shift required
• Minimum 3 years of experience required with at least 1 prior travel assignment required
• Background in observation units or MS/Tele units required
• Associate Degree or Certificate required
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS, ACLS (AHA or ARC); NIHSS highly preferred
• EPIC charting experience required
• Traveler must reside outside 50 miles from the facility
• Scrub colors: any color
